Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship.
You may also place any requested order over the telephone with one of our staff.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we have sent you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling
[ UK Shipping ] includes Channel Isles and Northern Ireland *A shipping fee of £4 shall be applied to UK orders if the total order is £50 or below with the following exceptions: a:) All footwear unless stated otherwise shall incure a shipping fee of £5 per pair of shoes regardless of the order total.
All items shall be shipped via a secure carrier with insurance to cover the cost of the items.

Christmas posting dates:
Orders placed during the month of December shall be processed immediately and in most cases posted the same day via an insured Royal Mail service. Therefore we recommend orders for Christmas to be placed before the 19th to which is Royal Mail's Cut-Off. Orders placed after this date unfortunately cannot be guaranteed to arrive before the 25th.
Should an order not be collected in time and the item is returned to us, we shall contact the customer promptly. Given the option of whether re-delivery is required, postage and packaging charges are no-refundable. Any re-delivery shall incure the same postage costs incurred when placing the order.

Delivery Schedule
All eyewear orders are delivered by Royal Mail Special Delivery or another secure carrier which under normal circumstances means next day (excluding Saturdays & Sundays) all other orders are shipped via an insured carriage service.

Tax Charges
All orders placed will incure tax at 17.50% VAT regardless of shipping destination.

Returns Policy
Any item purchased from Ten-eighty may be returned to us for a refund or exchange within 14 days of dispatch from us with four exceptions. } The first exception to this policy are any orders placed in December which can be returned up to the 14th of January. } The second exception to this policy is due to the nature of Custom Built eyewear, unfortunately there are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations. Any questions must be put forward prior to placing any orders for such items. } The third exception to this policy is due to the nature of replacement lens kits, unfortunately there are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations. Any questions must be put forward prior to placing any orders for such items. } The fourth exception to this policy is due to the contents of Lens Cleaning Kits and Hydrophobic Lens Treatment Kits there are no refunds or exchanges. Any questions must be put forward prior to placing any orders for such items.
To return any product, please contact us by email explaining the reason for the return request and to obtain an RA#. The returns authorization number has to be clearly printed on the outside of the returning item(s) with the returns form present and complete within the package.
Any items returned to us must be sent via an insured carrier for the value of the item(s) at the senders cost. All products are thoroughly checked for any damage or imperfections before dispatch and must be returned in perfect condition and in original packaging (original manufacturers swing tags must be present on all clothing returns) and unwashed.
Footwear must be returned unworn.
Exchanged items can only be dispatched after the returned goods have been received and undergone a quality control check.
We strongly advise all customers to check garments thoroughly upon delivery before removing any attached tags and before disposing of any original packaging.
Returned items shall be refunded less the shipping cost paid when ordering.
Item(s) must be returned to Ten-Eighty within 14 days of dispatch from us. Any items returned outside this time frame are accepted at the discretion of Ten-eighty and can only be refunded as a 'store / online credit'
We reserve the right to apply a re-stocking charge on items returned which do not meet these criteria.
Refunds to you will be made within 14 days of the date of the return. All undamaged, correctly returned products will be credited to the original purchaser's credit card excluding shipping charges.
Exchanges shall incur a flat handling fee of £4. This cost covers additional packaging and postal costs.
